OUR SCHOOL
God gave Bishop Varnie N. Fullwood, Sr., a vision to start a program that would advance His kingdom through the in-depth and prayerful impartation of His Word. North Carolina Theological Seminary (NCTS) is the fruit of that vision. NCTS Pure Light School of Ministry is a satellite campus of NCTS. NCTS is a prospering Bible college with a mission to train men and women to be effective disciples for Christ.
NCTS is a Bible-college divinely established and ordained of God as an aid in fulfilling the great Commission of the Kingdom of God, through the astute teaching of God's Word.
The Apostle Paul writes in the epistle of II Tim 2:15; "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
NCTS provides a biblically based curriculum that enhances students' knowledge of the Word of God; challenging each one to seek a deeper relationship with God and a greater understanding of His Word.
Our Mission
The mission of NCTS Pure Light School of Ministry is to create an educational environment in which students may obtain foundational Biblical instruction, which will teach them to effectively “dissect” the Word of God. Ultimately, our mission is to help train men and women to be effective disciples for Christ. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Timothy 2:15). In addition, it is our desire to equip each student through the teaching of the Bible, how to effectively apply the Word of God and His Biblical principals in their day to day walk, so that they may live victoriously, and in doing so draw others to Christ. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
